Rose Challenge 2020

This week saw the opening of the Rose Challenge in my new online art school.  It is quite incredible that Watercolour Inspiration, my online centre has become so incredibly active in such a short space of time. The challenge followed my “How to paint Roses in a Loose Style” tutorial and the submitted artwork from members is powerfully moving with a vast variety of colourful compositions. If you are a member please take time to enjoy this amazing display of talent from all levels of artists. I have the unenviable task of judging now and the winner will be announced on the weekend. 
I am now looking forward to the next challenge which will be in the form of a dog show. The lead up to the challenge will be a fascinating journey and great fun.

And please do get ready for the most amazing fun, painting dogs,  when the next tutorial is released. For now I have to select the winning rose painting and pack the prize, a set of my Jean Haines Daniel Smith Master Set !
