Jean Haines : Beach Table Easel
Well-known watercolour artist Jean Haines' own personal table easel was made for her when she lived in Dubai. It was purposely designed to take a half or quarter sheet of paper with ease.
Jean Haines says: 'I hadn't realised this was a problem, finding a table easel of this size, until I returned to Europe and started teaching watercolour courses there. Artists attending my courses repeatedly asked me where they could buy an easel like mine. I tried sourcing one unsuccessfully. Jackson's came to the rescue and created one with measurements as close to my old easel as possible and now everyone who wants one can buy a table easel at a great price just like mine! Yes, there are many easels available on the market but mine is light, easy to carry but more importantly takes the paper sizes I create on perfectly. Other easels are too small, only taking smaller size paper which isn't really how I work.'
